Dear Son,
I miss you so much. I do not know why you have to be married. I know that your fiance must be a good person and a good girl, but I won't be able to take it. I am very glad that you also bought the vineyard! You are going to be so far away. It took us 4 hours to get there when you went to go ask for her hand in marriage. But if you do have to end up marrying her you know that I want plenty of grandchildren. I want both boys and especially girls so that I can embroider and make lace for them. But remember I want you to keep our house until I die and then you can sell it and but more land next to your your father in laws land. I hope that she will be good enough for you and know what it is like to be married. I think that she will be good though. She has very pretty eyes. I am glad that she will be twenty two as well just like your older brother...if he were still alive! I hate knives and I hate the person who invented them! I want to kill the person that invented them! I don't want you to go out either and have the same thing happen to you. I wish you actually had been a girl so I would not have to worry as much. I still am weary about your bride. I have just figured out from the neighbor that she was to be married to Leonardo Felix and her cousin married him instead! I hate the name Felix. It makes me want to kill something!! I need to control myself though. I will not kill. Well just remember that I love you.
