Not in this case, the obvious reason being she ended up marrying her abandoned son years later and having intercourse with him plus children. I think she was being a bad person because she was doing this based upon what some priest guy, who thought he could see the future, said, which is bologna.
I agree with Chang here.. I think that she was a bad person for giving up Oedipus. It's hard to say that she is completely bad, because alot of the influence of this time period was based on the Gods and their word. However, I think that even though some guy said he spoke to Apollo, she is more of a bad person for not really even trying to keep Oedipus/avoid this fate herself.
